The Visible Invisible
Exhibition Identity Editorial Design Generative Design
The Visible Invisible is an exhibition identity and research driven book that examines the themes of surveillance in the digital age. It traces the philosophy and history of surveillance, examining how it began, how it has evolved over time, and the various forms it takes today.
The title, The Visible Invisible, refers to the paradox of surveillance technologies being deeply embedded in everyday digital life while remaining largely unseen.
Publication
The publication brings together work by artists and designers exploring themes of surveillance. Deconstructed typography, lines, and interface-like elements reinforce the visual language of the digital era while evoking a sense of restriction, control, and being constantly watched.
Mini ZineThe chapter focuses on the politics of privacy and secrecy, particularly how knowledge about organizations like the NSA is concealed from the public and only partially revealed. It includes a mini zine that uncovers programs hidden under codenames, disguised in plain sight as ordinary objects.
